frito lay expansion

MVE is proud to be the engineer and land surveyor for the $30.8 million Frito-Lay transformation project. Construction consists of two new snack food production lines for Dorito Tortilla Chip and Fried Cheese Puff production, and the addition of a cornmeal receiving, storage, and handling system. The facility is 500,000 SF and plans to replace all of its existing diesel-powered freight equipment with zero-emission (ZE) and near-zero emission (NZE) technologies. This transformation is one of Frito-Lay’s largest in the U.S. and it intends to be an industry-leading showcase for environmentally sustainable manufacturing, warehousing and distribution statewide. The number of employees is anticipated to increase by 206 as part of this project. Please remember to check back with us for more progress on this project.
