DUTIES
Conducting zoning research
Developing relationships with City Staff
Plan review
Entitlement application drafting and submittal
Public outreach related to project entitlements actions
Narrative and writing skills for Specific Plans, Community Plans and Master Planned Communities.
QUALIFICATIONS
2+ years of experience with entitlements, land use, real estate development, or other planning and permitting activities.
Possess a firm understanding of California Land Use and Zoning Laws, State Housing Laws, CEQA, and the Subdivision Map Act.
Experience with and an understanding of land use regulations and discretionary review procedures of various jurisdictions throughout the Central Valley and Northern California.
Ability to collaborate with engineers, architects, and landscape architects to produce high-quality projects.
Knowledge of engineering maps and records.
Ability to work on multiple projects and provide clear communication with clients.
