Palmdale Ditch Conversion

The Palmdale Ditch Conversion project replaced remaining open-channel sections of the historic 8.5-mile Palmdale Ditch with a buried pipeline to reduce water losses, improve system efficiency, and increase conveyance capacity. The upgrades help conserve an estimated 1,450 acre-feet of water annually while increasing the pipeline's capacity from 20 to 60 cubic feet per second to better serve the region's long-term water needs. MVE provided construction surveying and staking services to support the accurate layout and construction of the pipeline improvements.
