South Wilmington Grade Separation
Client:
MCM Construction
The South Wilmington Grade Separation Project at the Port of Los Angeles was an $84 million endeavor.
The structure, the longest bridge in the Port at 4,100 feet, links Harry Bridges Boulevard to Pier A Street and Fries Avenue in Wilmington. It provides direct access to the Trapac Terminal and alleviates traffic delays in the Pier A areas caused by train blockages on the streets.
MVE was contracted to provide topographic surveying, construction staking, and survey monitoring services for the project.
Construction was completed in April 2015 after 26 months.
Location:
Los Angeles, CA
